Leonardo - Photo Layer Editor App Reviews

Leonardo fulfills almost all of my wishes for working with photos. ? The layer possibilities are surprising. This app belongs to my favorite apps (besides PicsArt, Repix, Matter and Calista+). Thanks to the programmers! What I do not like so much is that the size of processed photos (of a camera with 20 mpx) is shrunken, with the effect that details are blurred. Leonardo should offer saving in the original size.

Really like this app, but we need a new update please!

This program has quickly become my favourite photo editor. It brings all the features of a desktop photo editor right to your cell phone. If you get it, I guarantee you will not be disappointed.

Hello, Love the app. and use it frequently. Suggestions, though. 1. Personally, Id like a higher number of possible layers. At least 40 2. Why is it that the brush tool has always the magnifier on when is open? I hate it. 3. In tools/scale I would like very much to enter values in addition to sliding. With sliders, it takes sometimes several clicks to get the right value. 4. And, wow! How I would like to be able to draws lines. Hope you will consider. Flickr.com/photos/tikotak

Leonardo is the only one you need. It does it all. The implementation of layers and masking is amazing as well as having most editting tools. You will love it and it will become your go to photo editting app for sure. The funniest thing is the review that says it needs one thing and gives only 4 stars. In that case every other app deserves no stars. Or the one that says us on expensive because the guy only needed it for one edit. People are ridiculous. I write an honest review to help people to know about a fantastic app, not because I feel like being ridiculous and have nothing better to do.

Leonardo remains my #1 choice for photo editing, especially for more complex work involving layers, masks, selections, effects, blending modes, burning & dodging, and more. Leonardo sets the standard for other app to aspire to.

good editor photo. Unfortunately the resolution on ipad pro is only low. Please upgrade the app.

I wish you guys can also support videos. Imagine how amazing that would be. You would be the first to do that.

I rated three stars for several reasons. 1. Lack of updates. No user improvements. 2. Inability to install my own fonts like I can with other apps. 3. Tired of painting pictures and saving them only to see half of what I painted didnt actually save. Please update and improve.

this has been my favorite app for photo editing and making edits etc but now, whenever i try to open a photo it wont open it from my camera roll??

This app is great, it would be perfect if it didnt crash all the time when trying to open a created project. The whole project is lost PLEASE FIX THIS!!!!

Great app, but there really is no support or updates, not since last year. Had a bug where having couple of layers makes the app go crazy and when selecting one layer makes the app select a different layer.

Everybody whos into post processing should have this in the toolbox. I keep coming back to this one time and again.

Best just got better! -------------------- Still the best standalone "Photoshop" app. Ex-PhotoForge user? Get this. Want Photoshop on iPhone? Get this. Need a masking tool? Get this. With the smart brush, selection got as good as it gets... Only way for it to get better is for iPhone to do everything automatically for you. 4.5 stars. Not for novices. Get this.

Leonardo is the best photo-editing app I have found on iPhone so far. Ive never paid for any of the big name iOS editing apps, but if there is a free app with better features I havent found it yet. It has a great set of tools including: layers (!), various wands/selection methods, effects (including adjustable perspective distortion/correction), & toms more (even a clone tool)! On top of that, it is still easy to use (I have Paintshop Pro on my desktop & Leonardo is similar/intuitive enough that I could use it right "out of the box"). As for cons, if any, it would be nice if the clone tool was a little more precise, but hey, it actually HAS a working clone tool (& tbf I am a big guy using an iPhone 5S so precision my be my problem, so still 5 stars)! Overall very nice job by developers, keep up the great work! Highly recommend!

I dont hate this app, please, I paid five dollars can you please make better tutorials so people will know how the buttons function, and when the squares, change, Im trying to love this app but it has a tools that I think could be very powerful, but the tutorials are not made well... Please have a person explaining what the CGI hand is doing, cause the graphics are poor, thats fine but I cant tell what she is stopping to press

its definitely the best editing app but like in photoshop you can save as a psd and when you open it it shows all the layers you guys should add something like that

I love this app so much, however after putting together several layers, I tried to "flatten" and each time it would bounce me out of the program. It also did that when I mirrored an image then tried to select it, knock me right out of the program. I was happy I did not lose any work, its just annoying, hope it gets fixed!

I recently downloaded this app. It is way more than I ever expected. It is almost like having Photoshop on the iPhone. It is well worth the price. There are very good videos accessible from the app.
